Buffet Island was an excellent choice of first venue, and this event was also my first visit to the premises.
I was impressed by the value for money - just £8.95 for all you can eat, and a varied selection of dishes to choose from which were regularly topped up at the buffet island. Suffice to say I barely had room for dessert, and will have to return soon to complete that part of the experience!!
I went for a reasonably priced bottle of Zinfandel Rose at just £11.50, and found the staff to be pleasant, courteous and also efficient at clearing away used plates and cutlery.
Overall, a friendly atmosphere, very good value for money, and I would heartily recommend anyone looking for a Chinese venue to give Buffet Island a try.

Just an excllent venue, food far above the norm, service first class, wine list very good and grate value. The added extra of being able to chose fresh ingredients and having there head chef cook it for you was fantastic. Well done all.

The perfect venue for the first event - quality food for all tastes at reasonable prices in a relaxed but busy atmosphere.
I can certainly recommend "Buffet Island" to everyone from the sole diner to the large family or friends party. You will be well looked after by the effecient and friendly staff.
