hey diners, this was my third people who dine and i actually really enjoyed el mexicana,i thought the location was great, the staff were really friendly and the food was really nice.
Full marks for a fabulous event - to begin with I wasn't terribly impressed by the organisation of the restaurant and perhaps my choice from the set menu wasn't the best I could have had - but in all everyone was having a good time and I warmed to the experience. Would like to return in the evening to test the full menu! CERTAINLY WORTH A RECOMMENDATION!
As a very shy guest and quite refined what can I say other than the food was good other guest where very nice and I think I had a good time!!!!!!!!would go again.
okay after the kerfuffle about a table, which considering there was a £50 deposit and they were expecting us was poor. Food was good service was good and the place itself ideally situated for pre and post theatre and events. Another hunky waiter to peep at too. how about a circular table for the group in future btw?
Food was nice, apart from the re fried beans which were just warm! Nice friendly staff, the red wine was good too! Enjoyed the location/outlook and the good company, had a great time. Good value for the money. Would recommend it.
I retired from teaching more than 20 years ago and spend most time indulging myself in painting at Bailey Contemporary Arts on Brighton Seafront.
