Very Good from the time we arrived every one was put at ease and made welcome,service 10 out of 10, food very good,well executed and presented well,house wines very good value.Will be back and recommend to all.Thank you to all staff of "THE HOUSE"

Good food presented in the nouvelle fashion, service pleasant and welcoming but as a venue for james birthday think it was too intimate and not enough totty to look at. Would go again, but is definitely more of a an intimate dining venue.
EXCELLENT
This restaurant really is a hidden gem - I had the fish stew which was classic and superb - it followed duck and rocket in filo pastry with plum sauce with a presentation that matched the best I've seen. Other diners had various steaks each cooked to perfection and exactly as ordered. A good choice of wines with value for money "house" options.
Thank you - I certainly will return to try more options.
10/10 also for sevice - AND our birthday guest ate for FREE - what a bargain!

What a little gem! Friendly service, great food and attention to detail all round made this a very pleasant outing.
I had mussels as a starter and they were plentiful and melt in the mouth, the sauce was a tad too salty but it didn't spoil the dish.
Main course of sea bass was superb, the best I've tasted in ages and was simply presented with new potatoes and salad leaves.
10 out of 10, highly recommended for all; you won't be disappointed when visiting "the House".

well the house was chosen as the pwd venue for my birthday bash and i was very impressed,the food was free for me but i would of gladly payed for the excellent dishes i had,the ham salad was tasty and light,perfect for a starter and the steak i had for the main course was lovely,really tasty.the service from the lovely waitress was quick and efficient and the rest of the diners from the group made my birthday a night to remember so thank u all and thank you the house,will be back
What a delight it was to dine at The House Restaurant last night.
The setting, food, & wine were unpretentious & this was it's great strength.
The steak was cooked to perfection, & melted in the mouth,(well, we chewed a little before swallowing)The starters were also delicious, we were so full up that sadly no room for pud. It should be said that the coffee was absolutely gorgeous too and a wonderful end to this eating extravaganza. Thank you all for a lovely evening, and 10/10 to The House, and all it's staff.
