the food was quite nice and plenty of it as well, the restaurant was nicely decorated but was too warm felt a bit like being in a sauna, the staff were efficient, polite and very helpful.will go again i think but maybe will choose something of the main menu and not the party deal.

The food was fast and furious-the roast potatoes made us particularly furious-frozen deep fried potatoes do not conjure a balmy Spanish night. Brake Brothers would seem to be doing a roaring trade at La Tasca. To be fair some of the dishes were pleasant enough but the speed at which they arrived meant it was difficult to really appreciate them. Staff were good but really would expect more from the food for the price. Really enjoyed the evening though and thanks to Peter for arranging it and thanks for the good company of our fellow diners. We are looking forward to the next one-how about Dim Sum at China Garden...For La Tasca we award quatre point (4/10).

well there was certainly food but like others say Im not convinced of it being spanish or even following a spanish recipe. It was okay but the lack of air in the place was uncomfortable.
Might go back for a coffe and cake but that's it.
the service was good but they were clearly on a mission to get us fed and out of there.

This was my third visit to La Tasca - first I had paella in Brighton and was warmed by the flavours and staff - second I had lunchtime tapas in London and was impressed by the quality and price - this time I was roasted and rushed - Perhaps a choice of the Party Menu on a Saturday night was not wise and I certainly won't repeat it. The staff were attentive but the food was low quality and the service too rapid - the house white wine was so poor I resorted to tap water and before I knew what had happened I was out on the street saying goodbye to my fellow diners - come on La Tasca you can do better than this!
